At The Sage Corner, materials are part of the writing experience. I choose each one for its texture, purpose, and the way it invites a moment of attention.

Paper for writing and keeping

Parchment paper brings a lovely surface to letters and journaling. Hemp paper gives postcards a distinctive feel, while mixed-media paper supports pieces that call for another kind of surface. I also use paper stickers for blind-embossed details.

Finishing touches

Hemp twine, 100% cotton ribbon, kraft paper, vellum jackets, and tissue paper add texture and help each piece feel thoughtfully gathered. For select small messages or seasonal specimens, I use glass bottles.

Packaging with care

I look for recyclable, paper-based options wherever practical, and choose reusable details or glass over plastic when they suit the piece. I try to avoid unnecessary packaging while making sure each item is protected on its way to you.

Materials and packaging can vary by collection. Recyclability depends on the materials used together and on local facilities, so please check local guidance when sorting individual pieces.
